It was another day at the service desk when a panicked customer approached.
CS Host: “What can I help you with, Ma’am?”
Customer: “I can’t find my car. I don’t remember where I parked.”
CS Host: “Alright, I can help you find it.”
Customer: “Oh, Thank you.”
They pass their manager keys to another manager so things are covered inside and go outside to help find the customer’s car.
CS Host: “Do you remember what door you entered so we can narrow it down?”
Customer: “I think where the food is at?”
CS Host: “Okay, let’s start there.”
They both scoured that side of the parking lot, unable to find it.
Customer: “I don’t see it over here.”
CS Host: “Let’s check the other side of the parking lot.”
They both scoured that side of the parking lot as well, with no luck.
Customer: “Well, this gate looks familiar.”
She gestured to the fence on the far side of the store. They both walked in that direction.
Customer: “Oh, there it is!”
CS Host: “…….”
The car was parked in the ditch. Unbothered by where her car was, the customer got in, got it out of the ditch and drove away happy as a clam. How the customer forgot they parked in a ditch is a question for the ages.

Customer service is not for the weak.
