Body Type: Clara has glowing dark skin with a tall and slender body.
Personality: Outgoing but not confrontational, Clara has an intense sense of curiosity. She is very interested about all of the things Kori can do and uses that interest to avoid the problems at home. Clara had to mature faster than most children her age because she was left on her own a lot throughout her childhood.
Flaws: Doesn’t speak her feelings and bottles things up. Will toss what she wants away if it means making someone else happy with no consideration fro herself.
Goals: Clara wants to have a better relationship with her parents and to have a more family focused home life. She also wants to satisfy her curiosity with regards to Kori’s abilities and to see how far they can go.
History: When Clara was growing up, she lived in a large city with lots of neighbors and friends. Her parents had no second thoughts about leaving her on her own most of the time due to the number of neighbors to look after her while they worked. This forced Clara to mature faster than her age group. Though she never felt lonely, she still missed interacting with her parents.
During her first year of middle school, her parents announced that they were moving to the suburbs and buying a house. Devastated to leave her life behind, Clara hid her despair with a smile and hoped that this meant her parents would be at home more. But that wasn’t the case. They instead became busier.
The only solace she found in her new school, where she was one of very few people of color, was her new found friendship with Kori. Strange, but genuine, Kori was the first to show her an honest welcome after transferring. There were a few other people who treated her well enough, but not like friend, such as Richard. Most of the other girls in her classes seemed to have some kind of problem with Kori, making Clara feel more protective over her. She found out the reason soon after spending a weekend over at her house while her parents went to a conference.
Clara found it strange that Richard usually initiated conversations with her rather that Kori, who liked him. She did her best to get him to notice her friend. She considered that he had feelings for her, but pushed the thought away. He was meant for Kori and there was no way she was ever going to get between them.
